Dr. Correll’s research and clinical work focus on the identification, characterization, and psychopharmacological management of adults and youth with severe psychiatric disorders. His research further focuses on psychotropic medication efficacy, effectiveness, and adverse effects as well as on physical health in the mentally ill.

Doctor Leucht has been practicing at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Technische Universität München, Germany since 1994. In 2002/2003 he spent a year as a research associate at the Zucker Hillside Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York. He was appointed associate professor in 2011, and is vice-chairman of the department since 2009. He is also an editor to the Cochrane schizophrenia group. Dr. Leucht's research focus is psychopharmacology and evidence-based medicine in schizophrenia with a focus on meta-analyses.
