Spain is a member-country of Schengen Area. A Schengen visa is a short-stay visa that allows a person to travel to any members of the Schengen Area, per stays up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes. It enables its holder to enter, freely travel within, and leave the Schengen zone from any of the Schengen member countries. There are no border controls within the Schengen Zone.

Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact your local Spanish Embassy or Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures (alternatively check the Schengen visa info website: ). It is the responsibility of the Psych Congress Europe 2022 participant to obtain a visa if required.

The processing period for visa issuance may vary between different visa applications. Visa applicants are therefore reminded to apply early for their visa, well in advance of the anticipated travel date.

Invitation Letter

An official personalised letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration procedure. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Programme.
